A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Program Description The IU Health West Addiction Treatment and Recovery Center (ATRC) offers an Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOT) program for adults with substance use disorders in and around Hendricks County. The program offers a whole-person approach, integrating physical health care and mental health care for patients and families. Patients will participate in a variety of in-house services including IOT therapy groups, MAT services (if medically appropriate), spirituality groups, physical therapy, 12-step support, SMART recovery, multifamily group sessions, and other community engagements. The IU Health West ATRC’s purpose is focused on providing excellent and compassionate care through evidence-based practice with a team of professionals committed to supporting each individual’s personal and ongoing recovery |
Program Description The Willow Treatment and Recovery Center is an outpatient substance abuse provider and counseling center located in Brownsburg. The center develops an individualized treatment approach for each of their clients that best fits their needs. The Willow Center offers a wide range of services which include, substance abuse counseling, mental health counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling, acupuncture, anger control and domestic violence counseling. The Willow Center is also a Recovery Works provider. |

Treatment services include free initial screenings, assessments, inpatient and outpatient services, and aftercare referrals. Individuals currently receiving services through a community mental health center can ask their provider for additional information. Individuals who are not currently involved with a CMHC but think they may qualify may contact their local community mental health center or call the Division of Mental Health and Addiction at 317-232-7800 or [email protected].

Description
The Behavioral and Primary Healthcare Coordination program consists of the coordination of services to manage the healthcare needs of eligible recipients. This includes logistical support, advocacy and linkage to assist individuals in navigating the health care system. It also incorporates activities that help recipients gain access to needed physical and behavioral health services.

Mental Health America of Indiana- Indiana Addictions Issues Coalition
The Indiana Addictions Issues Coalition (IAIC) comprises a group of individuals, organizations and community leaders from across the state of Indiana whom collectively facilitate recovery for those affected by substance use disorders. It is our mission to promote recovery through Advocacy, Education and Service.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
Offers the Victim Impact Panel (VIP) program to help drunk and drugged driving offenders to recognize and internalize the lasting and long-term effects of substance-impaired driving. The classes seek to create an empathy and understanding of the tragedy, leave a permanent impression that leads to changes in thinking and behavior and prevents future offenses.
Naloxone/Narcan Providers in Hendricks County-List
According to Aaron's Law, all Indiana residents are legally able to purchase or receive Naloxone (also known as Narcan) opioid-overdose-reversal medication over the counter. Naloxone can save a loved one's life if he or she is experiencing an opioid overdose. This list is periodically updated to include all current providers of Naloxone either for purchase or sometimes for free.
Stopping Minors with Alcohol Response Team (SMART) Program
The SMART Program uses off duty police officers to make compliance checks of businesses who sell or serve alcohol to prevent sales to minors, along with responding to social events involving minors and alcohol in Hendricks County.
CATCH My Breath - E-Cigarette/JUULing Education Curriculum for Schools
The goal of CATCH My Breath is to increase students’ knowledge of e-cigarettes, nicotine, and addiction while mitigating their intended use of the product in the future. Our aim is to empower and educate teachers, parents, and health professionals in the school/after-school setting to equip students with answers about e-cigarettes to make informed decisions. The program’s key learning objectives include: knowledge of E-cigarettes and potential harms, understanding and analyzing deceptive advertising techniques, developing and practicing socially acceptable refusal skills and practicing peer modeling techniques in small groups.

Labor of Love is a product of the Indiana State Department of Health in cooperation with other organizations to combat the unacceptable rates of infant mortality in Indiana. The website includes information on tobacco cessation for pregnant women and their families.
Tobacco Cessation
BABY & ME – Tobacco Free™
BABY & ME – Tobacco Free™ is a free quit-smoking program uniquely created for pregnant women to help them quit during pregnancy and stay quit after giving birth. It is an evidenced-based, smoking cessation program designed to reduce the burden of tobacco. During pregnancy, participants receive four prenatal counseling cessation sessions for education and support to quit smoking. At prenatal sessions 3 and 4, women may receive their first two diaper vouchers, if they test tobacco free. After birth, participants receive monthly follow-up sessions and if proven to be smoke-free, receive a monthly diaper voucher for up to twelve months postpartum. There are no income or age restrictions for the program. Participants must be a daily smoker or was a daily smoker within three months of becoming pregnant, be willing to quit all tobacco products, participate in 4 prenatal sessions, and take monthly breath tests to determine tobacco use.
