3380 East Main St. Danville IN United States 46122
Here at Theratails Riding Center, our mission is to serve all children with special needs by providing them with the best hippotherapy services to help them gain greater independence and improved function. Horseback riding moves the rider’s body in a manner most similar to a human gait; therefore, riders show improvement in posture, balance, muscle control, and sensory motor skills. Psychologically, riders make gains in self-awareness, self-confidence, self-discipline and concentration. As the legs of these beautiful animals become the legs of our riders, they are permitted a sense of freedom and mobility seldom experienced elsewhere in their lives. A very special bond is established between horse and rider which encourages unconditional love, trust and self-worth.
*Tips: Federal and state laws require public schools to identify all young people, from newborns to age 21, who need special educational services and to provide them with a free and appropriate education. Persons with disabilities who wish to pursue higher education should check with the Student Services Office or the Admissions Office of the school they wish to attend to determine what provisions can be made.

Theratrails Riding Center
317.850.6549
