The Indiana Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program helps low income families with the high cost of home energy. Income eligible families are provided a one-time benefit to their heating and electric companies to offset the high cost of utility bills during the winter months.
Heating and electric bills can be difficult to pay. For moderate to low income households, apply to see if Area IV can help. Benefit amounts vary based on application details.

Chords of Love Support Chatter is a group started to help others like us with Cancer, Chronic and Terminal Illness and Seniors with Low Income in our community. We have a Facebook page for all that want to join this is a support Group! We are a 501c3 as of June 28, 2018! We are seeking donations to help others with food, medicine cost, and basic needs such as rent, food, clothing, medical supplies. 100% of Donations go to these patients in dire need of our help. We operate exclusively by all of the caring volunteers and donors.

The mission of Family Promise of Hendricks County is to fight homelessness in Hendricks County by coordinating immediate shelter and needs assistance programs alongside longer term compassionate support services for families in all areas of life. This programs providing housing, meals, social services, and transportation to participating families. Denials of assistance can be appealed to the County Commissioner; information on appealing is included in the denial letter.

Life Steps is a free program at West Bridge Church that offers the chance to grow together through classes, discussions led by community partners and one-on-one conversations. Life Steps is a one-year commitment for people ages 18 years and older. Couples are welcome! Life Steps groups meet every Wednesday from 7 – 8 p.m. at West Bridge. Each member is paired with a Life Steps ally who supports them through their journey. Your ally will provide support and advice, help you make significant life changes, and cheer you on as you achieve your personal goals. Twice a month, local experts will lead classes on different topics like making a budget, finding affordable childcare or using coupons. Click the title if you are interested in applying/registering!

Since 1945, Little Red Door Cancer Agency strive to reduce the physical, emotional, and financial burdens of cancer for the medically underserved residents of central Indiana by providing free client services, screenings, and education. Programs include but are not limited to transportation to treatment, nutritional supplements, wigs, lymphedema garments, ostomy supplies, Door to Wellness, and incontinence supplies.

- Stability Builders Network: Connecting people in need in our community with the agencies and churches that can help. Family Promise receives the crisis calls, provides assistance and connects needs with volunteers, churches and agencies that can help. Members of the network refer people in need to Family Promise where a needs assessment is completed and appropriate crisis intervention is provided. Family Promise then continues to work with the family/individual to create or maintain stability for up to two years as needed.
