Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention - Indy
CHIP - Coalition for Homelessness Intervention & Prevention is the only organization in Indianapolis driving a system-wide, community response to make homelessness rare, short-lived, and recoverable. Through leadership and collaboration, CHIP: Secures funding for housing and services, Manages and analyzes data collected by homeless providers, Advocates for policy change at the local and national levels, and Supports community partners as we work together to end homelessness.
Community Action of Greater Indianapolis (CAGI)
Serves as Hendricks County's local housing authority for applying for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program.

Community Action of Greater Indianapolis, Inc. (CAGI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the reduction and ultimate elimination of poverty among the clients in its service area. CAGI changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other. Up until 2014, we served more than 40,000 households and 100,000 residents of Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Marion and Tipton Counties in Indiana. CAGI has pursued its mission since its incorporation in 1965, and the constellation of services we provide has grown and evolved as the shape and face of poverty has changed and the needs of our clients have changed. We are proud to be among the more than 1,000 Community Action Agencies in the country striving to achieve such outcomes for our constituents.
Family Promise of Hendricks County
Stability Builders Network: Connecting people in need in our community with the agencies and churches that can help. Family Promise receives the crisis calls, provides assistance and connects needs with volunteers, churches and agencies that can help. Members of the network refer people in need to Family Promise where a needs assessment is completed and appropriate crisis intervention is provided. Family Promise then continues to work with the family/individual to create or maintain stability for up to two years as needed.

Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation of Indiana
HVAF of Indiana provides housing and reintegration services to veterans experiencing homelessness, and administers programs and services to prevent at risk veterans from becoming homeless. For more information, call (317) 951-0688.
Reuben Engagement Center
The Albert G. and Sara I. Reuben Engagement Center provides shelter, case management, mental health evaluations, and housing referrals to individuals experiencing homelessness who have substance abuse disorder and/or mental health diagnoses. The engagement center provides a safe place for individuals experiencing homelessness and are experiencing drug or alcohol intoxication to be diverted from jail or an emergency room and who are unable to gain access to emergency shelter options due to active substance abuse. The Reuben Engagement Center is a part of the City of Indianapolis – Office of Public Health and Safety.
Safe Families for Children - Greater Indianapolis
Safe Families for Children of Central Indiana is one of the largest Safe Families chapters. We are committed to serving families in crisis by partnering with the local church, where host families open their homes and hearts to vulnerable children.
Stopover Inc.
Our primary focus is providing a safe and secure environment in which youth and families can begin to work through a process of reconciliation and reunification. The mission of Stopover recognizes the natural desire and best interest of adolescent youth to maintain family relationships even as they seek independence. Stopover is actively involved in helping program participants identify and connect with adults who are appropriate in supporting their quest for independence and self sufficiency.

Well built, affordable housing is essential to the vitality of communities in rural America. Housing Programs give families and individuals the opportunity to buy, build, repair, or own safe and affordable homes located in rural America.
