Unwanted/Expired medications may be taken to a local drop off box located at:
Hendricks Regional Health YMCA, located at 301 N. Satori Parkway, Avon, IN. 46123.
Additional locations may also be found here. In addition to preventing medicine theft, prescription drug abuse, accidental poisoning, and identity theft, proper disposal of medicines also prevents adverse environmental impacts. Pharmacists, educators, health care providers, and waste managers are working to promote safe disposal.
Community Paramedicine Program - Hendricks Regional Health
Community paramedicine brings supportive resources to the doorstep of community members with non-emergent needs. A team consisting of a paramedic and social worker will respond and spend as much time as needed to help the individual get the appropriate care and find the resources they need. This program is a partnership between Hendricks Regional Health and the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agencies of Hendricks County. Services are available through referrals from these partner EMS agencies, a doctor or hospital staff member.
