These groups are facilitated through the Chaplaincy Department and are open support groups. Individuals are welcome to continue attending as long as they wish. Created by women with breast cancer for patients and survivors alike. Compassionately serves the newly diagnosed, those in treatment and also those in their survivorship journey. The goal of the group is to enhance education and sharing, minimize prolonged weight loss, and improve the health and quality of life of head & neck cancer patients and survivors. The group meets at the HRH Cancer Center on the second Monday of every month, at 7 p.m. The HRH group is one of only a few designated Head & Neck Cancer Support Groups in Indiana. Improve Your Mood Support Group
Mood regulation issues do not discriminate. Many of us struggle with sadness, loneliness, anxiety, loss of interest or pleasure in activities, low energy, and fluctuations in mood. This group will focus on coping strategies for these conditions in addition to providing processing time for any issues that may be inhibiting successful coping. The group meets on the Weekly, every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m in the Hendricks County Senior Center and is open to anyone 25 years of age or older wishing to improve their mood. Connection with others in this type of setting provides mood enhancement in and of itself.

Talking with others going through similar experiences can be a much-needed opportunity to share information, get advice and receive and provide support. If you’re struggling with addiction, this self-management and recovery training group can help you overcome the challenges you’re facing. Regain your independence in a supportive environment that will help you build and maintain motivation, manage your emotions and abstain from addictive behavior. For children and adolescents, sharing their experience with peers can provide healing for those grieving the death of a loved one. Brooke’s Place provides peer support groups for young people ages 3 - 29, who have experienced the death of a significant person. Peer support groups meet twice a month on Monday or Thursday evenings at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Brooke's Place partnership with St. Luke's has held strong since the inception of Brooke’s Place in April, 1999. TransIndy is a peer-led social/support group for transgender and gender diverse people in central Indiana. We meet on the fourth Saturday of every month at 3:00 P.M. at Life Journey Church. Typical attendance at a meeting ranges from 15 to 25 people with equal representation of transgender people and SOFFAs (significant others, friends, family, and allies). We also have active and supportive Email Lists and an active Facebook Group. We provide support to our members and our community through open monthly meetings, information booths at pride festivals, resource sharing, and general mentorship.

AA is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A. A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A. For children and adolescents, sharing their experience with peers can provide healing for those grieving the death of a loved one. Brooke’s Place provides peer support groups for young people ages 3 - 29, who have experienced the death of a significant person. Peer support groups meet twice a month on Monday or Thursday evenings at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Brooke's Place partnership with St. Luke's has held strong since the inception of Brooke’s Place in April, 1999. Peer support groups are also offered on the first and third Tuesday evenings of each month at the Westside Church.
