Hendricks Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care through our inpatient and intensive outpatient programming for individual experiencing substance use disorders. We offer adult medically managed detoxification services for substances such as alcohol, benzodiazepines, fentanyl and opiates with an accompanying mental health disorder. Our inpatient stays are between 7 to 10 days and vary according to the individual’s needs. Patients will receive evidence based programming called Seeking Safety. We also offer a variety of recreational therapies during the stay including: pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, yoga, health management and anger management.
As part of the process, we offer Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for individuals. This is a good step-down for inpatient patients or designed for individuals who may need more than traditional one on one therapy. IOP is offered 5 days per week for 3 hours at a time.

Survivor Speakout is a two-hour educational, victim impact panel pursuant to Indiana Code IC 9-30-14 designed to prevent people from driving impaired by any means. That includes alcohol, illegal drugs, prescription drugs or a combination of any of those. Anyone convicted of driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol in Indiana is court ordered to attend a victim impact panel. Anyone convicted in any Indiana county, or on a diversion program, may attend Survivor Speakout and will be given a letter as proof of attendance. Visitors are always welcome. The presentation also includes impairment by alcohol, drugs, prescription drugs, texting, fatigue, sleeplessness, inattention to the road, eating, grooming, distracted driving and speeding. Any conditions caused by the driver that prevent responsible, safe operation of a vehicle causes impairment of some kind.

A potential client needs to be sober for a minimum of two weeks before coming into the house as they do not provide detoxification services.

Hendricks Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care through our inpatient and intensive outpatient programming for individual experiencing substance use disorders. We offer adult medically managed detoxification services for substances such as alcohol, benzodiazepines, fentanyl and opiates with an accompanying mental health disorder. Our inpatient stays are between 7 to 10 days and vary according to the individual’s needs. Patients will receive evidence based programming called Seeking Safety. We also offer a variety of recreational therapies during the stay including: pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, yoga, health management and anger management.
As part of the process, we offer Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for individuals. This is a good step-down for inpatient patients or designed for individuals who may need more than traditional one on one therapy. IOP is offered 5 days per week for 3 hours at a time.
Our hospital offers 24/7 free assessments to determine level of care needed. No appointment is ever needed. Survivor Speakout is a two-hour educational, victim impact panel pursuant to Indiana Code IC 9-30-14 designed to prevent people from driving impaired by any means. That includes alcohol, illegal drugs, prescription drugs or a combination of any of those. Anyone convicted of driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol in Indiana is court ordered to attend a victim impact panel. Anyone convicted in any Indiana county, or on a diversion program, may attend Survivor Speakout and will be given a letter as proof of attendance. Visitors are always welcome. The presentation also includes impairment by alcohol, drugs, prescription drugs, texting, fatigue, sleeplessness, inattention to the road, eating, grooming, distracted driving and speeding. Any conditions caused by the driver that prevent responsible, safe operation of a vehicle causes impairment of some kind.
